well i am new here so i tried to but this thread in another area...... anyways, corvettes are my all time favorite car (corvette Z06) and i jsut wanted to see an all vette thread so...here goes....

I love driving the z06's. Its a monster on demand and tame when you want it to be.
Incredible car for the price.

Who told you that lie? You realize that the Z06 Corvette is a showroom stock racecar right? That means it is designed to compete with Vipers and 911 turbos. I hope you realize that there is a huge difference between Autocrossing in a supermarket parking lot with a sub-compact and flinging around turn one at Sebring at 150+mph. Even the Standard Corvette and Corvette convertable are an order of magnitude above most of what are called "sport compacts" handling wise.

as for the handling...not much more to say that others haven't already...take one out for a spin and you'll see what we're talking about!

 

yeah the z06 handles like your on Gods feet its ridiculous.
the regular c5's handle great too.

The zo6 handles better than the viper in my opinon. Dont know about holding a corner since i wont drive that fast in someone elses car. i'd have to haul some serious ass to find out.
