Hey guys I am looking into a buying a black ss thats for sale. The car has several mods on already, as well as a nice multi color flame paint scheme. I have seen the car around before, and was wondering if any of you guys know much about the car. It has a pretty good list of mods on it, and used to have nitrous. I did test drive the car today, and loved it. It only had a couple of minor problems. The ses light was on, and when I first pulled out and hit the throttle, it made a popping sound, but never did it again. Any info you guys have on this car would be great. I am trying to get them down on the price a bit, they want 25,900 which is a bit high.

edit: I just found the car online, and the net price is 24,900

It has a very stiff suspension set up...possibly the pop you heard? That car had a really good life.

The popping sound I heard was def. engine related. It almost sounded like a fucked up rev limiter. Either way I really liked the car. The sales man told me the owner was a cop in St. pete. I saw the car at bradenton one time and the guy was pretty big that was driving it.
What do you have done to your car, miles? Intersted in a trade?
The car was in pretty good shape. It looked like it had been really well taken car of.
