305 engine bulid questions
I have a 305 in my 83 gmc truck, and I want to put a rebuilt engine in it. I know that I can get a short block, long block, or turn key engine, but I see that the short block is cheapest. I dont want to buy a long block or turn key because they are too expensive. If I get a short block, what what parts do I need to install to make it run?

cam,lifters,push rods,roller rockers,heads,valve covers,carb,intake,water pump,timing chain,timing chain cover,gaskets,water kneck.distr. shit if i might have an engine for u in a month depending on what nova i but.one is a stock 350 with 10k on it and the other is a 350 built some what with 450hp and 2k on it.
