Yea I broke my vette too , but the grey Goose had something to do with that. Talk about feeling stupid . 99 vert with about 450 rwhp , a night with the goose and a trip to hungry howies. At least I didnt get a dui,just totaled the car

i have broken over 10 ford transmission soo no luck there either i need a war tank


i would like to switch the vette over to 6spd manual but its alot of work and expensive

yea , you'd be better off selling yours and buying a 6 speed car. Are you breaking these things on motor alone? Did you turn off the rev limiter or something? The vettes not fords . Find out if you can put a 4L80 in it. Its a much stronger tranny

yeah the car its been dyno tune rev limiter been raised shift points are higher and firmer i can shirp 3rd gear at 94 mph.....car is nasty pulls all the way to 7,000 rpms its a H/C/I plus bolt ons i also have a stall converter and z06 3:42 rear diff soo that doesnt help much with traction

I had all that but a 3.90 gear and I couldnt break it. Not 500 to the wheels tho. around 450 or so
