Default looking for a good transmission builder

my car is making about 500hp and this i am going on my second trans i keep burning out 3rd and 4th gear ......its a 99 corvette automatic and it has a 3000 stall converter ...i need someone that can build me a 4L60E trans that can handle 500 hp and be a daily driver

lol ? whats funny? A C6 Trans Is Bolted To The Rear End Too. You Didnt Know That? I've rebuilt prolly 50 C6 rear ends , there is a recall on the rear end clutches , and the tranny is the same as the C5 , I got it down to about 25 min to get the whole rear end out , and being that they come with over 400 hp it should handle 500 jus fine

lol i thought you were talking about a ford trans too lol. then i got out of my retarded state of mind haha. yea a C6 will hold just fine. you can put some better clutches in it to give it a good firm shift if you want.

well i am having my tranny rebuilt with a shift kit and heavy duty clutches then i am selling the car or trading it....not having any luck with building chevys broke 2 motors and now my second tranny ...lol......

wow. in the vette? thats almost unheard of unless you put an ungodly amount of spray or boost to them
