The only difference with eV cars is that they reignite because the batteries are in

I’m a firefighter we can usually put out a car fire with 509 gallons of water. Same with Tesla’s. The only difference with eV cars is that they reignite because the batteries are in thermal runaway.

They way the batteries are packaged is like having a shoe on fire in a shoe box that’s in a closet and the closet door is shut and your sprayin water in the closet door to cool the shoe. It doesn’t work very well. The fire keeps growing. Hope this helps.

EV fires , the smoke is highly toxic and can kill you , even the residue left on a bu

Another thing about EV fires , the smoke is highly toxic and can kill you , even the residue left on a burned out EV , if you get it on your skin can be deadly . Obviously no smoke from any burning vehicle is good for you , but on an EV with some of those nasty chemicals that make up the battery pack, it’s on another level.
