single cam internals question
im new to the whole single cam scene. im building my first single cam for nitrous. i have eagle h beam rods and srp pistons out of a single cam vtec motor. Now my question is can i use these pisonts and rods in a single non vtec (d16a6 block)? also i have a zc block. the block is stamped zc, now would i be able to use the forged pistons and rods from the single vtec motor on this zc block? let me know please

Im pretty sure the SOHC VTEC pistons would drop the compression in both motors a point or so, but I believe you can use them in both motors and be happy. You would make more power putting those pistons in a SOHC VTEC block/head though. Your kinda doing the reverse of what most people do.

check out www.d-series.org If you cant find your answers here. They have some good info on the SOHC.
