It maybe the ignitor in the distributor making the tach jump,But the stalling mightbe the other sensors in the dizzy...try a good dizzy or get a new one....

how much could i get a dizzy for??

vtecforthechildren- to tell u the truth i think idle drops and dies because it doesnt do it while im driving or anything it does it when the car goes on idle..

What about installation? Is it alot work?

Im gonna be also checking my timing and the stuff that insanecivicsedan said...cuz im also running rich for sum reason..it smells bad..heh

Does a bad dizzy cause you to run rich?

is it the ZC motor? . . . they are notorious for running rich, dont let it bother you, run the hell outta that baby and keep a rag handy for your back end. . . . .

if the miss is dizzy you need a 88-89 acura integra distributor, junk yards or rebuilds are usually 100~200.

vtecready said it may be the TB. if so i got one with good TPS for you $50. . . .

loose valves are very noisy...youll be able to hear it
