that would be for a B-series and I highly doubt his 4th gen prelude has a B-series motor.

behind your radio you'll see a blue plug, this is your service connector. get a wire, paper clip, etc and place it into both holes. check engine light will come on when you start the car.. this is good..

Now remove the rubber plug located next to your block stamp. This will expose your flywheel.

Take your timing light, connect to positive/negative battery terminals, attach to #1 plug wire, aim at the flywheel and pull the trigger.. you'll see a flash of light and on the flywheel you'll see a groove cut. move the distributor until the light and the grove match up, tight the 3 bolts, remove wire from service plug and take her for a spin..

If you want to advance your timing, purchase a timing light with that option. Craftsman sells one for $70.

I tried the timing trick and help low end when you advance it......but sux ass high end unless it retarded......
