my coupe used to do that when i turned one direction so i found a torn boot on the passenger side then after i replaced it the other side went out ...so my 2 cents would be just send the extra money and replace both while you have the car jacked up and what not.....it may be a little more $ but atleast then you know they are both good and your not trying to keep track of two different milages and replacement dates....NAPA i found has them for the cheapest (but i forget what the core price is)

you can actualy pull the boot back and look at the bearings

mine did that for a little bit,then i checked the lugs and one was loose,and that fixed the problem..
