Default mini me question

i have a 91 crx si and for whatever reason somone swaped in an 8 valve d15b8
i have a d16z6 sitting in my room its complete and i was planing on swaping it but i sorta wana just pop the head on and see how it does.

does anyone have a similar setup with i/h/e what kinda numbers gain from the vtec head and il probly just run a vafc.

right now im running i/h/e with a 65 shot and a gutted ass car and my best run at the track was a 10.1 but i couldnt launch it cus i spin 1st gear nasty, im buying some drag radials in a couple weeks but if anyones got similar setup with or without the nitrious lmk i want some feedback dyno numbers or just track times thanks

hey man, you'll probably get around 10whp from the mini me conversion. remember you'll need a z6 timing belt, and headgasket.

and for times, im guessing a 9.6 on DR's.

let me know if you need help on that swap man.

the only diff between a d15b8 and a d15b2 is the head right?

i would expect more then 10whp cus acording to what ive read the motor i have in there now only puts down about 70motorhp so i would think with the extra 8 valves and a better flowing intake mani with vtec i would expect at least 20-30whp i dono maby im wrong but i think the d15b8 block was pretty much same as b2 and the b2 puts down around 90motor hp so thats 20motorhp from the 16valve head...

well, yea, its a better flowing engine and all, but to gain WHEEL horspower is more tricky than just horsepower. ide say 20 AT MOST. but you'll probably get 15whp.
