Default h22a into 90 accord..

ok so i plan to do this within 3 years, and i can't decide to pay to have it done or to do it myself..

also, is this guide any good?

Ultimate H22 Swap Guide, H22, jdm -- Ultimate Resource Guides

and if i wanted to pay a shop to do it, which shop would be the best? and would the shop already know about that autotensioner problem that the guide mentions? and would it maybe be helpful to buy the guide for the shop, or would they already know everything?

i'd want the tranny to be swapped from auto to manual too, so basically one shop for the whole job.

oh, and are either of these websites safe for the engine and tranny?

i would say do it yourself:

1) you get the satisfaction of learning, doing, and accomplishing....

2) you save mad $$$$$

3) and if/when something goes wrong, you will know exactly where and how its all been installed, so you can trace the prob easily and fix it properly.

4) girls love a guy who will trade competent mechanical knowhow for sex

as for the guide thing, ive found several writeups (was thinking of a H22 EK hatch...) for H22's, and they all seemed pretty complete.

so go do some crazy research, find the best install guides, read em over, and if u think you could do what it says, then ur set.
