just get the ones for a b16 head on an LS/B20 block and you are good.

No, you wont be using the Ls/Vtec studs.

Call ARP and ask them.

Yes, you will be using the lsvtec studs. I am not sure what itsslow's objection is, but it is really simple if he thinks about it.

You are putting a b16 head on a block that has the same deck height as an LS block. Remarkably enough, the ARP studs don't know that the engine block says b18c on it rather than b18b. Stupid studs!

Aslo, I've got a gsr with a b16 and lsvtec hed studs that's been on the road for about 8 or 9 months now. Just purring along with 20 pounds of boost.

I Called ARP today.. and this is what they told me.... The b16 and b18c1 head bolts are pretty much identical..both 11mm and only off in length by the thousands.he said it would be just fine using my b18c1 arp head studs for my b16top/b18c bottom.(woohoo).and i ask them about the washers because i have a gsr arp head stud kit that came with the main stuid kit as well was missing 3 washers for the head studs..i asked to order the 3 missing washer and he just reccomended i bought them locally..saying that the oem washers would be just fine.its the head studs that are the real difference... for anyone else that was wondering...

b18c and lsvtec studs are the same length because they are for the same block height. The b16 block is shorter.

i def understand that.. i mean.. dont u just cut a inch or so of the bottom of a b18c and bam, u got you a b16(sorta speak). what i mean is.. does the block matter since i would assume what matters is the length in thread that bolts threw the top of the block from the head studs?
