In the market for a header ? This right here should be somewhat of a guide for you.
Well the Header test was a success and is finally over. We are going to compile the data this week and release the results ASAP. For those that are waiting to see how their header did dont worry all headers were impressive and very comparable.
The baseline test car proved to be 176 hp/119 tq very respectable for a fairly stock ITR. The highest header reached a peak of 190 hp and the lowest was still a respectable 185 hp. As you can see we will have to resort to laying out the data to see which header performed the best throughout the powerband.

Keep in mind that those upper end header provide the most gains on that stock motor. Think about how good would they do when used in conjuntion with their own valvetrain components.
I still like the JDM ITR 4-1 header. The ones that made TONS of HP are 2xs the price of the JDM ITR header.

Also keep in mind the jdm 4-1 itr they used in that test was a non-ported one. If the interior welds were ported out it probably would have done a good bit better.

Im thinking about puting in a after market 4-2-1 header but I
have the 93 civic EX and it already has the factory 4-2-1 do
you think it would be worth it or do you think the factory is
fine??? Iv been pondering this for some time so if you got
some info let me know
