1991 Honda civic transmission fit a 1988 Honda accord lx 5 speed manual???
Can a 1991 Honda civic transmission fit a 1988 Honda accord lx 5 speed manual or what other Honda transmission fit to a 1988 Honda accord lx 2.0 liter manual?

For my 88/89 A20 engine Accord, the tranny number on the sticker has an E, F, or some other letter designation. Any trans going in, must have the same letter, or the pilot shaft/input shaft/hole in the flywheel won't match up.
Dealer wants hundreds of dollars for parts.........but if those lettters
don't match, it's a time-consuming hassle.-Bob
