Default 97 EX head on a 94 non-vtec block

I have a 94 Honda del Sol S, which is non-VTEC and I have a 97 EX head. Will that head bolt on to the 94 bottom at all? If it won't then which head(s) could I use? No one I have asked has had a for sure answer

yes they will bolt up...there is something you have to remove in the block to get the oil to flow for the vtec... you also have to get a p28 ecu and a few other items...you would be better to get a 92-95 vtec head...no problems with the distributor that way.

Yeah you have to remove this little gold thing, which I am told is the oil sprayer. Yeah I got this head really really cheap though. It has 2 bent valves in it, but I am assuming that is a easy fix. Also, I was thinking of just getting a different distro. Which distributor?
