i waz reintaling the axles and found out that the half shaft wasnt alining with the bolt holes on the block so is it that DAs and DCs half differnt half shafts because i got a 93 DA with b18b1? plz help .......do i got to bang it in with a hammer or wut??? plz help thanks

 

They should both bolt up to the b series block. The difference between them is that the da half shaft has a female end and the newer half shaft have a male end. Make sure both are b series halfshafts. Hammer shouldnt be needed if the axle is already off the shafts. It should slide right in (all the way in the tranny) and line up with the the 3 hole in the back of the block

 

so that means i might need a dc half shaft cuz i think thats wuts going on cuz i had a b18a1 tranny in it but it blew so i bought a ls iam figuering differnt year and it looks like the half shaft aint alining so its prob that i need a DC half shaft right??

 

and yea they are bserious half shaft because i had taken it out from the other transmison that was on it and that transmison was from a b18a1 iam guessing a diferent year

 

The problem your having is one is for an auto trans and one is for manual. I have an extra DA manual trans half shaft I will gladly sell you for $30 if you want it.
