Default Auto to stick?

Whats involved in converting an auto 90 DX hatch to a stick as a B-series swap is being done? Is it just swapping the pedal assembly and shift linkange and bypassing the "auto trans" wiring to the ECU?

I'm sure Civic's are as difficult as Integra's are....meaning you're gonna need all kinds of stuff.....talk to Mr Self Destruct about it......I recently discussed with him everything that would required to make a tranny swap in my car work.....so yours would probably be relatively the same.

lets see, pedal assembly. master cylinder with lines ran to the slave cylinder for your hydro tranny. which would be best done while the motor is out of the car. making sure you have the proper clearnce as far as fitment of the shifter from the shifter linkage goes. and seeing as how your going to running a b-series ecu there shouldnt be any wiring issues other than the ones you create. its simple enough to do, just a matter of having the know how to do it. which some people obviously dont have.

i wouldnt deal with converting the car to a hydro clutch, just pull the whole assembly from a cable 88-91 in a junkyard.

Its pretty straight forward on a cable clutch car. Depending on the year you may have to drill the hole for the clutch cable. On my 89 dx I did, I believe that 90-91 crx's had the hole already so I'd assume you won't have to drill. The chasis mounts are in the same place so if you use a mount kit no welding is required.

Do the clusters just swap (to remove the auto gear indicator) also without any wiring changes?
