Question tie rods ends..

When referring to tie rods, what does it mean when they say inner or outter? Whats the difference between the two? Isn't there only "one tie rod(s)" on the whole car?

Here's a pic of it installed on the car. It's "outer" because the "inner" part is threaded into it. The outer tie rod end is hollow, but threaded so it can recieve the inner part. For adjustability of course.

No problem man

I got it here: http://www.hondapartstore.com/honda_ball_joint.html

I bought them like a month or so ago, left and right, and both lower balljoints for like $75. I think they were around $13 each OEM. I just checked though and the prices raised a bunch.

But damn when I put them on, my steering tightened up so much.
