More power from a single cam!!!!How???
get a nitrous kit... best bang for the buck hands down... what else is out there that can drop 1 + seconds of your 1/4 times for $500?
if you would rather have horsepower that is constant, i highly reccomend a turbo... i had a turbo SOHC running 9 psi and that beast hauled...

Thats a great idea how much did you have it milled? Those are impressive numbers what else do you have done to it? Stock grs motors only make about 141whp and your close to that id really like to make that much power. How much did it cost you to have it milled I was also thinking of getting a port and pollish

Okay first off dont get all pissy about my opinion. Mandrel bent exhaust is a Jip, lets compare a supra with maybee 500 + horespower to a honda. The supra would want mandrel bent due to the massive exhaust flow it has. I am a ASE Certified technician and I can tell you it is not worth it price wise. Lets say maybee 175 more dollars for what 2 to 3 FLYWHEEL Hp.
The Con's of Milling the head
As a proud previous owned of a d16a6. I had the head milled (regrettebly too much) 45 thousandths, remember they take 10 thousandths of an inch to clean plus whatever you want and as well GO TO HONDA for your gaskets. My FelPro (they suck ass) went out in like 2 weeks and was coating my walls with coolant instead of oil which was perfect for those piston rings.
The Pro's of Milling the head
Well after milling the head I HAD to invest in some Nitto 555R Drag Radials due to the massive amount of traction I lost. With my stock tires @ about 10 psi I could easily spin through 3rd. I believe if you do it correctly you will notice a large increase in power throughout your whole RPM range if you can catch traction. As well if you were to throw Nitrous into the mix you might want to change to some colder plugs. The whole port and polish deal is new to me mainly because I think you have to change the valve seats depending if you add large ass valves. If you do end up going down that road and following through with all that, Skunk2 has started to make performance parts for Single Cams. But dont expect quick delivery b/c I waited for like 2 months for a Skunk2 exhaust from NOPI (which was the only company at the time that said they could get me it). I cancelled my order eventually.
Finally you said about a website comparing headers and some other stuff. This site is awesome but they mainly talk only on the Dual Cam Vtec stuff but it still helps.

Damn man thanks for the info maybe a 25-30 thousandths mill would be a sweet spot i allways use honda gaskets but i'm glad you metioned that because it really sucks to finish a job and have to do it all over again because of a blown gasket been there...thanks for the site links too very much appreciated
