As I said before, the car was not on 816whp... It made 880whp the night before the track with more boost. You cannot determine the HP from a trap speed unless the 60-foot times are identical. The FBI EvoX was only managing 1.7-1.8 60-foots; while AMS was doing consistant 1.5's on better tires.

When this car goes back on a DynoJet and makes 9XXwhp you're gonna look like a FUCKING IDIOT!
I'll ask again, since my question was looked over before.... Was this before or after the "adjustment" to the dyno that yielded 100whp gains?

the horsepower calculators on the net are more accurate than dynos.

3650lbs
10.2 et
139mph
=723 flywheel horsepower

this car would make around 625-650 on a correctly calibrated dyno

I don't think you guys understand...

First pass: tires spun, aborted run.

(turned down 2 step)

2nd pass:
He had a 1.7 60 foot, the car broke up in 3rd and 4th and still ran a 10.8 @ 139mph running out of gear top of 4th...

(plugs were changed to fix the break up)

next pass...

Car left with a 1.8 60 foot. The car ran clean until the shift to 4th gear when the intercool pipe blew off. The car coasted to a 10.5 @ 128mph

The car didn't make one clean pass... therefore, you cannot calculate accurate HP from that when the car was either breaking up or shutting down early.

PS-where did u get the 10.2 from? lol

Go to the track on saturday and watch it run low 10's and maybe a high 9...

Wow then someone needs to learn to play with the 2 step a little more. The fine adjustments to a setup like that car are the key. 100 rshared_pm on the 2 step can mean the difference of spin or hook. The bad part is that with a stroker you always want a little spin involved or everything can break in one bad launch.

I am surprised that a 1.7 is the best 60' you guys got on that car while on DRs. Hopefully the Slicks will help a little more in the next runs.

There's a little more to it than just the composit of the tire. Yes it was a drag radial, but its only a 40 sidewall... it's pretty much a road race tire with that low profile. The car needs a taller slick with a bigger sidewall so it can actually wrinkel and hook up to achive the desired 60'. Also, I think the driver knows what it needs since he was the one who set the previous record in AMS's car... If it could have been done on those shitty tires he would have made it happen!
