hows the parking? do you have a spot roped off for us to park? or is it regular parking? this is a business you are holding a event at not a parking garage... i don't wanna show up with a few others and hafto circle the parking lot to find a spot because its packed because its a weekend and during business hours...

 

Hey guys!! Sorry for the lack of updates--I have been super busy! First off, lemme start with the pics of last meet! we had over 70 cars and a huge variety. I want to make this next meet even bigger! For the person that asked about parking--Peabody's allows us to block off a big chunk of parking lot which we can reserve exclusively for Tampa Car Meets. My partners and I typically use caution tape and cones to block off the area directly in front of Peabody's. If you are rolling in with a crew, email me in advance, and I will try my best to make sure you guys can all park together

The next meet is this coming saturday (5th) at 9pm at Peabody's...address is in the first post. again, if you need any help with directions, feel free to email me: ssq.tcm@gmail.com

Please please spread the word!! We get bigger and bigger each meet, and it's all because of you guys spreading the word. Remember there is no charge to come! Just have a good time! Meet new people, appreciate some awesome cars, grab some food and drinks, and play some pool/darts at Peabody's.

There are a few ground rules: no burnouts, donuts, or speeding. Please drive as if you were next to a cop. We try to create a fun and safe environment, so we don't need anyone ruining that. If you choose to disobey, you will be asked to leave!

hey guys! T-2 days. The meets are going to be on Saturday's. It's a biweekly event at Peabody's (for now)...We are definitely trying to build our name and our meets to be the biggest around. Basically, we want to be the Go-To meet every other Saturday, and we can only get that way with all of your help!!

So please spread the word. Like "Tampa Car Meets" on facebook...RSVP to the event and invite ALL of your friends

So, see you all this Saturday (3/5/11) at 9PM at Peabodys. Bring all of your friends, and if you are rolling in with a crew, email me (ssq.tcm@gmail.com) so I can try to reserve spots for you.

 

What a great success! Despite the torrential downpour, we had 101 (that i could count) cars come out!! Big ups to the old school VW crew that rolled in like 12 deep! I know it died down a little early tonight, but rain does that to a meet. I hope everyone enjoyed and we can't wait to see you all again in two weeks for our next week.... Tell your friends, and let's make these meets grow even bigger!!
