There is going to me a 10PM showing of the movie at Parkside Regal Cinemas this coming Thursday.



I have spoken to theater management and advised that we would like to set up a meet and a movie event there on Thursday for the 10PM showing.

They mentioned to me that they would not have a problem with that as long as the parking lot doesn't turn into a menacing event where traffic flow is blocked and laws are followed. I also spoke to an officer that was there today and he didn't see a problem as well as long as things dont get out of hand. That means:

No Improper start - aka Burn outs
No Revving unnecessarily as a disturbance
Alcohol - NONE
Parking lot drifting.. ect..
No loud stereos blasting - there is a sound ordinance in effect
Common sense is expected.

Tomorrow I am meeting with the General Manager for specifics about the lot and availability.

I was told that it is recommended tickets are purchased NOW, in advance in order to prepare for the potential of the need of an additional theater. The current theater it will be shown in has a capacity of 308. Ticket sales is open to anyone so remember that more than just TR members will be buying tickets in advance. You can go in person to purchase tickets if you dont want to pay the "additional fees" by purchasing them online or go to Movie Times and Movie Theaters in 33710 - Fandango.com and purchase them there.

So, for the MEET part, we'd like to see everyone there around 730-8 PM. That gives plenty of time for full time workers that get off between 5-6pm to do what they have to do and then make it there. Tomorrow, I will see if we can have an area in the large parking lot where we can all park together and mingle. Then during the movie, the police can roam and focus on the large group of cars that will be there for safety and security.

TR.com decals will be available for distribution for those who want them as well as the TR licence plate vanity cover.

We know that there are several meets set up throughout the bay area and so we wanted to see if we can have one set up centrally located for most of you and get a chance to get reacquainted or meet for the first time.

At the end of the day, this was put together for the sake of fun (meet n greet) and convenience.

Senor Honda, your redirect link goes to an event on FRIDAY and users were messaging me confused about locations/dates and times. Plus this is a TR meet n greet hence the title of the thread. The one I listed is for THURSDAY and I placed it here because it is less than 4 days away and I was told by management at the theater to encourage everyone to pre-purchase the tickets for 2 reasons, 1) high potential to sell out and 2) if enough has sold out prior to Thursday, they would then make arrangements to show the movie in an additional theater is enough people respond.

Post up on here if you or on the TR FB page if you are actually going and have purchased tickets already so I can keep management informed if we would need an additional theater.. The parking lot in front of the theater is very large and well lit and usually has 2-3 patrol cars. If a large turnout is anticipated, Im sure there would be an extra show of security.
