As of December 2013, there have been over 4,000 views on TR and many more on facebook.
I'm trying something I started in 2012 for the event notices that I personally post. You will have to check every week since I post by date.............. sometimes in between events, without sending the thread to the top. I get a lot of event invites, sometimes out of order. sometimes several months in advance.....and sometimes at the last minute.
If they invited me, you are also invited.

Events listed by date will make it easier for a TR member to find either what is happening this weekend, or what is coming up in the future.

I'm going to be listing my events in order by date so instead of a person having to wade through TR's first two pages, some with a date in the subject, and some without an event date. Everything that I personally post here in my thread will be in date order. Everything I personally post here will have a link to past events so a person can read up on the last time that event took place.

On Saturday, April 26, 2014, the Mustang Club of Tampa will be hosting an Open Car Show during the annual Islands Fest event. The Festival is being held at Peter O. Knight Airport, located on Davis Islands, 825 Severn Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
The Festival is a great family event with a huge number of activities for kids and adults of all ages, and leashed pets are allowed (there is a dog beach there too). The car show is open to all makes and years and they will be centrally displayed with airplanes, military displays, many vendors and a food truck rally with fabulous food.
Car show registration is 8:00 am to 10:00am with awards at 3:30 pm. The preregistration is now closed but you can register for only $25 on day of show. Unique awards will go to the Top 35 cars chosen by show participant vote


Islands Fest 2014 - Mustang Club of Tampa
Islands Fest is a yearly event where the residents and businesses of Davis Islands (along with its South Tampa neighbors) come together to celebrate a day of unity, community interaction ad family fun.

FUELING RULES
Fueling allowed in designated Fuel Area defined during the drivers' meeting. Two people minimum, one holding extinguisher while fueling from jugs. All people in the Fuel Area must wear the same safety gear as the driver (except at pumps).
Engine and kill switch must be OFF during fueling.
NO ONE ALLOWED IN THE CAR DURING FUELING
A NEW DRIVER CAN GO INTO THE CAR AFTER FUELING
NO OTHER WORK ALLOWED DURING FUELING (no tire checks, no fluid checks, etc.)
