Im getting the 90 GTUs over in West palm...and id like to set it up for some Auto X and possibly some solo-meets and i wanna get a set of Coil overs for it. Im actually partial to the Tein's, specifically the RA's and HA's.

Tein HE's will do you well for just messing around .

I would get JIC FLT-A2 . They are more $$$ but well worth it . If your just gonna mess around why not get KR2D coilovers ? His are under 1k and decent , they use AGX shocks and GC coilovers sleeves but are welded on and otehr stuff done .

 

Where did you find the K2RD coilovers for under $1000? The site is finally back up with the parts section and it looks like its $1115 for the kit withe everything. I guess you can buy just the adjustable springs/struts by themselves for less?

 

Oh , I guess they went up . When my buddy bought them they were 950 shipped .

He was having a sale though so I suppose that would be the reason .

You should check out EBay , Used JDM coilovers on there all hte time . I'll ask my buddy in japan if he is selling his Kei Office coilovers off his .

 

if you havent bought any yet, i hear good things about stance coils.

 

stance = $1100 if you get a deal (new), so I guess that's not too far off

Ground controls and AGX's are a fine option, you can buy them for under 1k new, but if you find a deal you might have enough left over for camber plates.

A buddy of mine recently got the new K Sport coilovers and they're under 1k new even from vendors.

 

I wouldn't get coilovers if you have to drive down that ridiculous fucking off-road trail to get to your house.
