That sounds like it would be sweeeet.

thanks guys as for "a real BOV" im speaking of the now leaky plastic piece of shit under the evos hood. and i have never had a type s leak boost, its just the most cost effective brand name piece you can buy. vice an HKS SS for 250. bux, 170 dollar type s is okay with me, even if it is a little Paul Walker-ish. but i have seen Buschurs stuff and i must say it is very nice and does make the HP

eh, 1g bov on a car that runs 19 psi stock may not be in the best interest of the owner, they are good bovs to a point, but modification would need to be done to not leak boost at the levels an evo runs, but for the record, the plastic piece of crap that comes with the evo, seems to be holding over 20-something psi with no problems, dont fix what isn't broke

What does this mean: "real BOV(im giving him a type s)"

If that means you think a greddy type S is a real BOV, think again. If you want a real BOV, get a Tial, TurboXS, HKS, 1G BOV, or anything BUT the Greddy Type S. That thing leaks like no tomorrow AND it sounds like a kazoo.
i had a type s....i leaked, it broke, it sucked ass..... i have an APS (purpose built subaru stuff) and a turbo xs rfl.... the rfl seals well, but its so damn loud! but yes, the greddy sucked.... if you notice, there are two "nipples" on the top of the bov... everyone i asked said not to plug the small one at all.. leave it atmospheric... so i did, and i realized that vaccum was applied to the same chamber, now, how does this make sense?> its almost an intentional vaccum leak. i have it dissasembled now, if anyone wants to see pics, let me know, it will give you a good idea of the shortcomings of the greddy.

thanks guys
sorry bout that last post, if i were him, i would go with the Forge BOV...

That second nipple is to be hooked up to a boost source as well. My friend has it hooked up on his GSX and it makes the BOV operate 10 times smoother and more quietly. Gets rid of the occasional jerking associated with jumping off throttle while just barely in boost.
