What do you need the Aeromotive FPR for? Didnt the turbo kit come with all you need?

If you are only planning on running up to 8-9 psi the FMU that came with your turbo kit will be fine.

the FMU is a cheap solution to a real problem.. .sort of. there are people who try to use it w/ their undersized injectors as a way to pump more fuel thru them. This is what causes blown engines. You cant use a rising rate adjustable f uel pressure regulator to significantly increase the fuel flow rate thru the injectors when increasing the airflow/power level. People use it as a cheap solution to properly sized injectors, and they end up w/ blowed up motors.

Now, you should be able to just use it with properly sized injectors for your HP goals and be safe. the only thing it can do is allow the fuel pressure to increase by 1 psi for ever 1 psi of boost your engine sees. thats ALL Its supposed to do.

The people who blow up engines try to jack up their base fuel pressure so that their fuel pressure is higher overall. But this causes a bigger load on their fuel pump, and it cant flow the proper/necessary capacity to support the HP levels they are trying to run. they THINK that they will be able to get more fuel and be safe, but they wont.

All you need is a Walbro 255, maybe even a Denso 190lph (3000GT VR4/Stealth TT pump) to supply an adequate amount of fuel. the FMU will allow your fuel pressure to be raised by 1 psi for ever 1 psi of boost so that you dont lean out as the boost hits. i wouldnt try to crank the base fuel pressure moer than 5 psi over the stock motors Base fuel pressure specification. if you use the 450s, youll have all the fuel you need and youll run safe and have ntohing to worry about.
