if you have to ask this question, dont venture into this...spend a little more time doing your homework on your car before worrying about doing turbo swaps and such, it'll save you alot of headaches

so what car is this for?

the 2g comes stock with a t25. The 1g come stock with a mistu 14b. The 14b is a good turbo. The t25 sucks.
It would be a nice upgrade for you. If you do not have the 14b in posession I would suggest getting a 16g, because the 14b is not able to support much more than 280hp.
You will need
Water lines
oil feed line
Oil return lines
Gaskets
that should be about it

Or you can get a kit from http://www.roadraceengineering.com/2g16ginstallkit.htm
there is a better idea for what you need.

all i have to say, is i did the switch..... and it makes a big difference, just do your research, the 14b install is the way to go if $$ is tight.... btw... psifactor.....i dont think the t25 sucks... its a good turbo up to a point....all depends on what kind of application u are looking for and what your goals are... if you are doing every day driving in traffic the t25 kicks ass.....bitch practically spools in reverse, heh, if the avg street race went to 70mph you would practically win 99% of the time... although it sucks anything past 5k
