i have a 95 gst and want a rfl bov but i was told it wont work i need the typeh34 bypass valve.i was told my car wont run right.does anyone know anyone that has this bov on there 2g.please let me know

 

It wont work right because you cant recirculate the RFL back into the intake. This will most likely cause your car to idle crappy, and be jerky on and off throttle. If you still insist on getting that ridiculously loud BOV, i suggest selling your GST

i do know a guy with a 97gst that runs open atmosphere with a GReddy TypeS, also knew/know a guy with a 95gsx that ran open atmosphere with a HK$ SS. neither have problems.
cars are picky, some can, some cant. either way u still get that burts of gas (to go with the air coming from the BOV) going to the motor which would make u run "rich between shifts"--as they say

 

the HKS SS is a 50/50 BOV, half the air gets recirculated, the other half gets vented to atmosphere. too bad you cant relocate the MAF to behind the turbo...but then if we could do that, we'd have more queefing ricers who dont know a thing about dsm's

 

if you have the recirculation kit, if not, its open as can be
the one i am mentioning is 100% open atmosphere

 

I've been running open discharge for almost a year and a half, i've had some problems, but not many ! If you have an safc then you can help it along, but that's not a promise it'll work, only a help ! Like Alex said above , it's a gamble, some peoples cars can , some can't !

 

just get the type h 34 and vent iit back in and see how it runs and then take off the vent back hose and see how that runs. if it runs fine then leave it off it not then just connect it back on. thanks mike

 

KNOCK ON WOOD, but my car runs fine with mine vented completely into the atmosphere with a greddy s... from the day we put it in, we put a old coolent bottle cap on the stock snorkle that fit perfect and the thing has been running absolutly fine for almost 4 thousand miles.... BUT i am gunna seriously ask you to listen to that damn ReallyFuckingLoud bov becuase its just loud and thats it... i mean it is kinda an expensive thing, make sure you know exactly what you are getting... just a word of advise
