sooo... does anyone have a bare 1G awd chassis? i think i may have a 92 AWD parts car (minus motor) coming about soon. ive got a little idear in my head.

i remember this guy, Harry from bradenton, had a 92 AWD that he was parting out, i wonder if he still has the shell. i bought my 4 bolt rear end from him, but i dont have his # anymore. anyone have a way to contact him?

i figured i wouldnt be that lucky... its been about a year ago since i last saw the car.

we are going to get a wrecked 92 awd this weekend.. and my buddy only wants the motor out of it. he may change his mind and decide he wants the tranny, but i think he said he wants an FWD tranny for his conversion anyways. the 92 is driveable, but it was T-boned bad enough to where i dont think it can be saved... so im just looking for a car to put this equipment in. its not a project im in a hurry to get done anyways.

ya i know of a 92 tsi awd 6 bolt 4 bolt in a junk yard in very good condition compleate but its auto. my buddy has a 94 tsi awd 6 bolt 4 bolt but he just got it actually from harry not to long ago (5 days i think). but i don't think he is going to sell that any time soon. i do have harrys # if you want it thought. its no use sence he has no more dsm's but if you need it. thanks mike

yea, i guess if Harry doesnt have his 92 anymore, i dont need to get ahold of him.

it would be nice to find some kind of shell... this car COULD be fixed, but its not worth the amount of labor that would be required.

im trying to plan out a roll cage w/ GT fabrication right now to make it wicked strong... on top of stitch welding the body.
