possibly low mialage good condition turbo head complete looking for a friend

low mileage? good luck... closest youll get is a rebuilt one. if youre friend is looking for a working head to bolt on, let me know.. ive got one but its over 100k miles.

is it in good condition? he needs one because his head is shaved down and he now has a ticking too

oh yea, only thing wrong with this is the carbon buildup in the exhaust ports. other than that, its in fine mechanical condition, pulled off a bone stock motor that was driven by a girl almost its entire life. i think the carbon buildup was due to the fact that the motor was never revved high enough or boosted hard enough to keep the carbon deposits from building up.

uh dude, if his head is ticking, the head isn't fucked up, it has a collapsed lifter(s) that need replacing

oh we know that but the head is shaved and were not too sure on the compresion so we dont wanna run too much boost

aaaggh, you guys are making me dumber, 1Gs are 7.8:1 compression stock, you couldn't shave that head enough to raise compression enough to hurt anything

But there is a service limit you can only shave the head so many times before you can go any further. If you go any further you risk cutting into the coolant jacket, knicking the valves and screwing up the cam timing..... its not just about compression ratio.

see the thing is the previous owner that had the car shaved the head and were not sure where he got it done and we cant verify the quality of the work......... and he has a big 16g wich dosent make a difference
