Default This doesn't make any sense... so help me out!

My Eclipse won't start!!! Ive replaced the spark plugs with new Vortex ones, put a new Walbro fuel pump and filter and put a new Everstart battery in, but it still won't start. My starter tries to start the car and it tries to crank but the engine won't start. Help a newb out. What do I do??? I really dont mind spending money, I just dont want to replace anything else that doesn't need to be replaced. Any suggestions DSM experts???

Does it actually turn over, or just tries to. And by turning over, repeatedly turning over with no start, or just kinda turns over and thats it.

First thing you should do is get rid of those spark plugs and go get some NGK BPR7ES.
Next you need to test for spark and fuel. Figure out which one you are not getting. Then we can take it from there.

Check the ignition fuse. Mine blew for no reason, and it did the same thing.

It actually turns over to answer your question tsib. I hold the key in the start position for a long time and it never attempts to even start running. All it does is repeadetly turn over with no start. Sometimes it sounds to close to start because it turns over faster and faster with each consecutive attempt, but no start. I thought replacing those three things would help but they didn't. Quick Question, I hear the fuel pump working but does that necessarily mean that my entire fuel system is working and in order? I need some serious help, thank you all for your input.

Maybe I should quit drinking. Check for fuel at the rail, and have you checked for spark. Check for these like Tom said, and we can give you a better idea.

Yea I still have my old one... Its brown and ugly. Im not sure who makes it or if its good or not (I dont think its aftermarket, its prolly stock) all I know is that it had to be replaced because the person who sold me the car said it needed a new one. I have spark becuase the spark plugs are brand new and the thick rubber wires and tubing are all correct and good so im sure I have spark. My fuel pump is pumping gas because I hear it working but im not sure if the engine is getting gas. How do I check that? If spark isn't the problem and fuel is, how do I check to see if my engine is getting gas? I keep on being told "its your injectors" from my friends but I just dont know. The problem is I know more than they do so I need expert input. Thanks guys.

You cam un bolt your cam angle sensor and turn it and see if your injectors fire.
You can also unbolt the feed or return line to the fuel rail and se if there is even fuel in the fuel rail.
Also just because you have new plugs and wires does not mean you have spark.
