As for the turbo, having Derek by the 20G off the Starion basically paved the way for me to buy the car since I don't have stacks of cash around, lol. He's swapping turbo's and his is ported at least. After seeing how nice of shape the car is in, I think I'm going to keep it pretty much stock anyways. I'd rather save it for a fun weekend driver and keep the miles low since I already have so many miles on the Talon.

I've been reading up on the engine all day. I work for the state so I have plenty of time.

Besides needing the 1g MAS, I'm pretty sure it's a problem with the injector clips or at least with the fuel. I ordered a tune up kit (plugs, wires, cap & rotor) and a throttle body rebuild kit today! I found some injector clips but I was looking for something cheaper. Any good places to check out parts and prices??

i have brand new injector clips just laying around....and i told derek that's what it is, it has something to do with that secondary injector not that MAF....the 1g maf can wait...matter of fact i know how to make the car run without one....

Well It won't run right now anyways. Derek stole the turbo off it last night. He should be putting it on his car tonight so I'll be able to get his soon. I won't have the TB kit for a few days.....and then Derek is making me change all the gaskets in it myself...so watch out!

i also have a rebuilt tb, 2 of them actually lol....all you had to do was go to discount and get the throttle body rebuild kit, it's like $15, and easy as shit to do....and you shoulda got the 12a first.....that car shoulda been running fine from the first night

 

I went to Autozone and ordered the rebuild kit. I won't get it until Thurs or Friday though. I do need to get it running quicker than I was planning since I have to deal with this crap with my Talon again.

I'll have it this weekend to work on it. I'm also getting a exhuast gasket and stuff to change the oil. Believe it or not, I've never changed my own oil. I'm such a slacker.
