and i know about the exceptions for the 1g's, thanks for the round about dates. Also, for the 2g, i meant a previous owner may have swapped over to a 6 bolt, it just seems like people do it quite often.

I got my cable and software for 40 dollars and I could've picked up several palms for less than 50, but I use my laptop.
