just wondering how loud it is on 15psi we need to take it off to fab up a new exhaust so i still need to drive for a couple days is it really really loud? or not to bad for a couple days?

 

not too bad, but it gets annoying after a while.....

 

all im worried about is cops and yes it is a stupid question but ive never done it

 

many people have louder and less of an exhaust and dont get stopped, just drive quietly past them and dont make them pull you over, ive never been stopped and my exhaust was earpiercingly loud once the wastegate opened

 

so its earpearcing when the wastegate opens? or was that another car?

 

that was my talon on my downpipe, i had alot of port work in my exhaust, if you dont have any port work, it wont be as loud, do you have the stock cat? it will be alot quiter apposed to not having it on there

 

The noise is overrated. I was running open o2 with a lot of port work done to the various exhaust components and the noise didn't really bother me. Went WOT past many cops without any trouble. I put a 3" cat-elim downpipe on the car right before I grenaded the tranny and it got louder on the inside, more noise transmitted into the cabin. It still wasn't what I'd consider overly loud. Turbos make great mufflers.

 

well actually it wont be open downpipe it will be open 02 housing because it will be turbo back exhaust

I put a short ram intake on my stock exhaust Honda Accord and scared myself the first time I drove it. I almost took the intake off because it was "too loud when I get on the gas". Now I've been driving around with an exhaust that hurts my ears when I go by walls and box trucks in boost, and I really don't think it's that loud. Maybe I've been to the track one too many times and my definition of loud is based on nitromethane big block v8's running open header that can make your ears bleed.
