How far will we go for a make-over?
Car looks absolutely awsome, let me know if you wanna paint my front and back bumpers But you guys really did do a great job and I love the color, almost looks like the magenta grey that came stock on the eclipse
Yea we have been debating the issue with the wheels for quite some time now. He definitely needs some "chromage" I say. We were even thinking about polishing his wheels out to a chrome-ish type finish (a thought). Of course money is an issue; however he does need new tires so maybe he will figure something out. Wheels are not cheep but it seems to be the next item on the list for the talon. Also the wheels have not been cleaned in this picture, still a lot of dust and primer all over them. Nick, Johnny and I all steadily worked on the car every weekend with the occasional help of various friends over the last month. The side skirt is not pushed in, that is a factory side skirt and it is exactly identical on the passenger side. I see what your saying but its the light/shading that makes it look like that. Many Talons’ have that trim. You seem to be confused with the later model Eclipse side skirt that is not indented i.e. my signature photo. Anyways thanks for all the comments we put a lot of time in this paint job and just as a side note we painted all of the entrances as well. Will we ever attempt a paint job again? Most likely not, it takes a lot of hours and down time. Its not as easy as just plucking out a motor which can be done in a weekend. Hopefully we will decide something on the wheels and get some more pics up soon…

side pic
The "pearl" in the paint absorbs the shadow giving that indention more depth but here is a direct side view.
I guess it was just the way the shadow was on the pic, I know the sideskirts do that, but it didnt look as extreme as the one in the pic. Nice job.
