Doesnt your first post say you will not be driving it for a couple of months? Perfect time to save for more money and not waste it away on that. Do what you want, I guess I never will understand why people dont like to go straight to what makes power.

Why do people pay 4000 to 7000 on a non turbo eclipse when you can get a turbo car for the same price or maybe a little bit more? When I bought my first car RS eclipse I didnt know a thing about cars or modding or turbos I was a ricer but when I got spanked by a stock gst I saw the light. I dont want to be a hater or anything like that but take it from me ive had both turbo and non turbo the gst or gsx for that matter have WAY more potential than the gs or rs.

 

hahahaha, 7000!! i would buy a 3000gt or somthing i just got my car and it was only 2500 and it has 70,000 miles on it with 17in motegi rims and tires, also i have money left over for insurance so for the next 3 months all the money i get will be saved for body and turbo

 

I remember when i had my rs...to many false hopes and dreams...i know you've heard this a million time but...theres just not as much potential with the 420a than there is the 4g63t. and lets just say that you did turbo your 420a, you couldnt boost any higher than 10 psi without haveing to build ur motor from the ground up.I'm still learning all there is to know about the 4g's and from what i've learn i can make my gst and 11 second car with stock internals...just my .02

Its a good thing you didnt get something with some sort of balls in it. You have already fallen into the nonturbo world of overconfidence in something that purely has nothing to begin with. I cant tell how many posts there have been with 420a guys who ask for advice and then talk shit to people who give you better advice. Next time post the price your getting the car for, because most of the people who are stupid enough to buy one of these pay in between those prices.
