Scary, eh?

Just discovered the source of the car running hot as well. Seems that the little fan on the driver's side in front of the turbo is nearly dead. I'm sure that the motor has been heat soaked for so long and that is why it only spins at 3 rpm. Nothing major, I am surprised it hung on this long without some sort of shielding.

Idle surge is probably a vaccum leak where the intake manifold meets the head. All other leaks have been sorted aside from the very large one at the o2 housing where my exhaust will be in the future. I'm enjoying open DP for now though, scares ricers with aluminum spoilered Hondas and Neons.

I like it too, might get a cutout just so I can have that sound at the push of a button.

Hey I saw you at the meet. I was parked next to you in the 2g talon. Did you do the 92-94 talon rear bumper conversion or did the previous owner? It looks stock.....nice job.

There's always a lot of 1.8 and 2.0 nt's at the junkyard to pull a fan motor from. I haven't installed CAPS on this computer, but I'd guess they're the same, at least on the 2.0 nt. Anybody know for sure?
