boost
you can run as much boost as you want out of it but any more than 19 PSI your just blowing hot air its not going to be as efficeint as it can be. My buddies 91GSX did a 12.9 @ 18PSI the turbo lasted 50K. I have seen the 16G in the EVOs being run as high as 28PSI. these guys at 28PSI are putting down nearly 500 on the ground. with a GT35R at the same PSI they are getting better #s. only thing with them running 28 on the stock 16G they are all running the alky injection. some of the 35R guys dont even use the alky kits yet.
hey I dont know much about the 14B but Its not going to be doing what you want at really high boost levels. maybe the 1G guys need to just finish this thread

Larger turbos will always produce cooler air at the same boost level as a smaller one.
Not sure what that has to do with his question though.
You want to go fast. Run as much boost as possible and tune to it.

no wastegate vac line?? that is childs play.... physically wire the wg shut, like the big boys.
I would run as much boost as you possibly can with good gas and/or spray a shitload of alcohol into the motor.
And no stock turbo evo is putting down 500 on boost, lets not kid ourselves.

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fucking temperamental.
