Another DSM on the street!!!
Friggin sweet my 98 Eclipse RS just got out of Paul's Garage in LOL and runnin fine! I needed a new gas tank, injectors & fuel rail, fuel filter and an alarm tooken out. It cost me a spaknkin' $827.40! They did a pretty good job and everything seems to be running in order, I just have to work on the interior a little myself. But im curious could I have gotten all this work done anywhere else cheaper? I know DSM's are alot of work.

It probably wouldve been cheaper to never buy it, maybe im crazy.

Ah w/e. To answer your question Julian, the previous owner of the car had left it sitting in a garage for about a year and a half because they got a brand new car, so she gave the Eclipse to TR member kjd1231 (her brother) and sold the car to me for $1500. I guess the gas being in the tank for so long damaged it and it needed to be replaced along with the injectors, the filters and the rail.

Its called condensation, which leads to rust. And it couldve been alot cheaper than what you paid for it.
