Whats with all the locks?
Whats with all the locks?
i mean to me its stupid ..... every other one of the technical forums is doing fine with the TTT and bump but Mitsubishi tech its against the law or some thing explain ? i could see yall point when we didn’t have the Mitsubishi for sale but now we do ...? explain thanks....
Did you not read Jordan's post in the other thread that got locked? His post answered alot of questions. The main point that is good and why we are doing this I will quote for you.
"The rules are there to keep the clutter and crap out of this forum to make it easier to use and more effective for everybody. If people have to sort through pages of off-topic nonsense and TTT their threads every couple hours to keep them off the 20th page, the system breaks down and nobody can find what they're looking for. By setting rules in place against such behavior, TTT's shouldn't be needed in the first place, because everything should stay fairly near the top for a while anyway without constant bumping by other people and as a buyer it's easy to find what you want because it's all listed in a no-nonsense format with prices and good descriptions and no pages of arguing about price that have all characterized TR For Sale forums in the past. These are not rules we have pulled out of our asses- these are rules that have worked well at keeping things in order in other Mitsu classifieds on other sites we visit, adapted to best suit this forum."
If you would like to read the rest of his post, feel free to click this link - https://www.tamparacing.com/forums/s...d.php?t=261518
And just because other forums allows 20 thousand TTT posts doesn't mean they're doing "fine" or better, just means it's more cluttered with worthless posts that do not offer anymore info on the part for sale or anything at all.
Do you go on other boards and do "TTT" 30 times for a gauge you are trying to sell for more then it costs new?(Not saying you do, just giving an example of what actually goes on here.) If not, then why do you think it is acceptable to do it here? Is it okay to trash TR Mitsu for sale forums with TTT posts but not other message boards?

hell i TTT my crap when its needed wouldnt it be your fault for not checking up your crap every once in a while to see how its doing ... and if your selling a used part for teh same price it is new your stupid let that person be it will never sell so it doesnt really matter.....
Not to be the asshole that I am, but I guess you didn't click the link I showed you and read Jordans post otherwise you would have saw this part also.
"If your thread falls off the page with no response for several weeks, your asking price is probably too high, or there just might not be a demand for what you're selling. You could update the thread with a new lower price, which is perfectly acceptable under the rules. If your thread is over a month old and sitting on the third page with no response you're probably fine relisting it. But if we let people TTT their posts at all, even if we put some sort of time limit on it would be hard to police and there would be lots of violations, until finally it's back to the way it was before. You don't have a right to expect your post to be at the top all the time- if people really want what you're selling, they will go down the page a bit or run a search to find it."
Other forums like t00ners and the like might let you TTT all your stuff but TBDSM, orldsm, nabr and the like do not and we are going to follow the same critera.
BTW - You posted this in the wrong forum, MOVED.

when did this become nabr or any web site like that ?
i know i am not the only one who has the same feelings towards this subject ive talked to a few people who post in here ....
you don't even need to TTT. when some1 responds to your post it puts it on the first page so dont bother TTT. TTT flooding pisses every1 else off because you are knocking there threads off when people are responding it to one that no1 responds too.

If your part is not selling and you can not "TTT" without adding some more information that might make other people want it anymore or drop the price to where people will want it, then obviously there is no interest for what you are selling otherwise people would search for it, find it and buy it.
Have you ever been on any other board that allows people to have 321646846348468 TTT posts? If so have you ever been browsing through and saw a post that was TTT and go "Oh shit, it was brought to the top, I didn't even think I had to have one but now I have to have it"?
If you feel like you do not like what is going on feel free to PM any admins if you want and tell them how you feel and what you like/dont like. Sorry for us wanting to turn around mitsu forums into a REAL forum instead of a limp biscut circle jerk.
