Check your ECT switch (engine coolant Temp). its a little switch right underneath the thermostat housing. It might be corroded and throwing the sensor off. I replaced mine in my boosted 420A and that solved the overheating issue. Also check for cracks in the housing itself where any leaking could be spotted.

thanks for the info, i have indeed looked for any cracks in the housing there a re none due to the fact that i have just put a new one on because i broke the original one while changing the org thermostat.i will change the switch again due to the fact that some times you get bad ones.

Lol I had an overheating problem last night... my radiator cap blew off while I was driving LOL it was kinda funny although I had to get a cop to give me a ride home lol. You do have an intercooler though right... it's not hot piped is it?

um well if you heat wrap the intercooler piping it will trap that cool air... that'll make it run a little cooler although it won't look that good.
