my advice is if you want a reliable car that can take abuse get a honda.
if you are someone who can take care of their car then the gst is a fun cheap and fast car. but if you plan on starting to modify keep in mind your reliability usually goes out the window.

I would say...If you plan on buying a dsm...Have some money in reserve just in case(but usually does) something breaks...Not saying its the cars fault but, previous owners abuse theirs car like hell and get all pissed off when something breaks.Thats why dsm have a bad rep...take care of it and u should be good to go

and before u kick urself in the ass later on in the future for not getting a gsx...buy a gsx unless u dont mind having fwd (GS-T)

just my .02

Good luck if you do end up getting one. I'm on my 3rd one so far and they've all treated me just right. Take care of the car and it'll take care of you. Like they said above, have some money in reserve just in case something would break (which would happen).

true and its always something big, like a tranny! i have never had little gay problems, only big problems, and they really havent been that close together and 1 of them was my fault...so yea dont touch the timing belt, mod it right, and itl be fine....
