Yea I thought maybe a hole saw to start with so I could get the skill saw in then the skill saw to finish it off and maybe some high grit wet sand paper to smooth the edges after I am done

Like so?

The guy just cut a hole through the lense with a hole saw and cleaned it up with a Dremel; Epoxied a pvc tube in.

ahhh so you don't need a hole saw after all... I would use a dremel or something with a lot of precision. Ill probably end up doing something like the first pic but with black spraypainted or clear pvc so its not as noticeable.

If its on your friends car, i dont see why its so hard to figure out. You dont have to tape anything off, its not going to change the way the plastic melts and forms. All you have to do is sand the edges and then heat up some metal of your choice and use it to smooth the edges to look like clear plastic and not something that was cut and sanded. A cut-off wheel, dremel, sawzall or anything of your choice to cut it doesnt really matter, your trying to over complicate something that isnt complicated. There is also a thread in dsmtooners about this as well.

That's exactly what I was thinking.

Are you still stock IC? Wouldn't it be easier just to enlarge the sidemount piping hole and build a cold-air box drawing air from the fender well? Or run a pipe into the fender well?

Well my friend that has it lives in Cali so it's kinda hard to base it off of his

Also yes I am stock SMIC

and I also tried it and it's alot harder than it sounds... i ended up cracking it and having to make it a little larger than I wanted to elliminate the crack.. overall it doesn't look horrible but soon I am gonna find another turn signal housing and redo it.. I will post pictures up a little later
