Default Headlight cut out question

Hey guys I've seen how a few of you guys have your passenger head light cut out to direct hore air to the filter, how is it done? I was gonna just go at it but instead of ruining my headlight I thought I would ask here first and hopefully get an answer from someone that knows what they are doing lol.

Its not exactly rocket science, you can either cut off that whole section in front of the headlight, or use a cutoff wheel and cut out that section.. i have one laying around if your interested in it.

I think masking tape should work. If you taped it off, outlined it, then used a cutting wheel with a dremel or something. Afterwards you could look into getting a little air duct to put over it. (Like a little piece of rubber so it looks clean)

Yea I was thinking maybe masking it then using a skil saw to cut it out... I dunno though. I am probably gonna make a direct like air duct so to say out of aluminum (since I do aluminum gutters for a living I have all the tools and aluminum to do stuff like that)

maybe a holesaw instead of free hand.

On my 2G, I removed the passenger side headlight anytime I went to the track. Its not too hard to take off or put on, but there is one bolt that is a huge pain to get to, I took it out once and never put that bolt back in.
