Just out of curiosity, are those things capable of producing a nice gain?

I've read that you need to have all the electronics to actuate the butterfly valves. Does it fit on the 2G's relatively well? I've read that the A/C on our cars is usually an issue in fitting these in. Would we be able to keep the A/C and still use this?

I noticed the Brothers run one of these also. I'm just wondering if it's worth it to install this.

Also, how much do they usually cost?

Form what ive been reading is that it helps the midrange of the power band but the top end is affected just a little and it will decreases spool up time in the power band any ware form 200-800 rpm sooner.

As for the butterfly’s jerry has invented the “t-25 mod”instead of using the electronics to active the butterfly’s he has adapted an actuator form a t-25 turbo to opens the butterflies at 8 or 9 psi.

The a/c can stay in you just have to grind a part on the manifold in order for it to fit.

Is it worth it? Ill post up some logs to show the before and after affect.
And you can find this thing on ebay for 100 bucks.

Jesus that was long....

John all I meant was that you were going to have Jerry order my "stuff"

Juan I'm ready whenever you are ill even run you in my current boost leak state. 17psi baby

Boostlogik - forgot your name sorry.
Juan is correct for the most part but on 2g the ac compressor is not an issue its only 1g that have that problem and it is due to some dumb ass hump in the 1g ac compressor.

Very informative post Juan. Thanks very much for your feedback. I'm planning on doing some major work on my car in the near future. I guess it wouldn't really matter as far as top end is concerned, since that has always been a weak point of these cars.

Then again, I'm still on the stock T-25, so I wouldn't know what anything past 130 would feel like. I'm sure the guys running the larger compressors could vouch for having much better top end pull.

BTW Dario, no problem about forgetting my name. I know we've never formally met in person, only talked a couple of times via PM. My name's Ron though, just so you know.
