I personally Have/had both and AEM is far more advanced.
And Dsmlink is really tuner friendly.Also you don't need the apex-ITC.

Its not all about price.
Plus a AEM is going to cost over 1500 including sensors with out wide band.
A dsm link will cost under a grand even if you need to get a eprom ecu and is way more user friendly for the average tuner out there.
AEM is not for the average tuner.

AEM is not for the average tuner.
That's true.But I seen AEM packages going for $1000-$1200 used.
In second thought,Yea Dsmlink sounds good for you JR.

buy AEM. when you have to unload it 2 months from now because you can't get your car to run, i'll trade you even for my dsmlink!

Download the trial software and see. It's not something you want to jump into without prior tuning experience, because trying to learn how to work AEM and how to tune at the same time is not going to go well for you. Hence TampaTSi's joke. DSMLink is definitely the best option for you, even having to source an EPROM ecu. I don't think there's a more user-friendly system with anywhere near the amount of control.
