Not to be rude here but coolant would be the last thing, if it was coolant related, the engine would have blown a headgasket since he's WOT it all the time obviously to check it out, the smoke wouldnt be Black, which 90% of the time is because of running rich, the smoke would be white due to all of the coolant/oil mixture. Its obvious that he is having air induction problems.
