Thanks for all the good lucks and offers to help. Once the parts come in and the rebuild is done, I might just invite everyone over to do the swap and possible have some pizza, etc. I know I will need a cherry picker at a really good deal **cough**Kevin**Cough** hopefully I can get one the day of the swap.

Thanks Brandon. So far its working out ok. I just need a cherry picker to get that motor out. I havent really started taking anything apart because of that. Anyone have any idea where I can rent one or buy one really cheap?

harbor freight has them for pretty cheap and either pepboys or autozone rents them for free, they just hold a deposit in full and return it to you once you bring the hoist back.

WOO HOO...Parts are starting to come in. Got my main and rod bearings today, Rods show a confirmation delivery of tomorrow and pistons/rings were mailed out today. I guess its time for me to really bear down and rip the rest of the motor out.

how did you check the ringlands when you pulled the head off? did you have wiseco pistons, b/c ive never seen to many forged pistons crack ringlands due to top ringland being farther down the skirt of the piston
