Here it is, I got a turbo kit from them for around 1500.00. I called them 4 times and asked the sales guys, "does this come with an intercooler like in the pic", they said, yes it does. Ok cool, so I ordered it and when I got it, it looked like a bunch of nothing I could use and O yeah no intercooler!!!

So I called them and they said o we thought it did, I said ok well what can we do, he calls me back and says all we can do is give you one at cost or you can return it and we will not charge you a restocking fee. Well after looking at the kit and seeing it would take to much work to get it on I said, I'll send it back. Now this was about 3 mo ago. I got a refund in the mail for 1300.00 I said ok where is the rest, I called and spoke to the sales man and he said he will find out what happend and call me back, well no call back. I called him and he would say, well I turned in an order form and I am waiting for them to send it out. So I wait and wait and nothing. Now I called them today and he tells me that they are not going to give it back to me, that "sorry but this is the restocking fee". Now I am pissed!!!
I know it's a hundred and some odd dollars but it's mine and I am not rich. I also know this is a big mitsu company and you guys may not buy from here anyway, but when I was a mitsu head I had bought a lot of stuff from them. I thought I would just vent thanks for reading.


If this needs to be locked then fine, I am just helping out other's so this does not happen to them.

 

yeah sorry about your luck with them. That is not the first time I have heard of something like that from SBR.

 

Yup just keep at it. Maybe small claims court?

SBR just went downhill.I don't buy from them no more.

 

i bought a few things from them in the past never had a problem

 

well the email I got back from him is they are not going to help me and that I am lying.

Never had a problem with them. cherbear on here has a connection with one of their employees so when I had my TSI she would get discount on parts. Never had any problems.

I definately recommend though DSMotorsports, bought an item that I didn't know was on back order since it never stated that online and they replied to emails and even sent me a letter and all apologizing. They said that its being custom made and will be sent out asap from the manufacturer. I was fine with that since they kept in contact.

But yeah SBR, I've heard the bad but so far its been good for me. I would imagine that everything they have on their site is not actually stored at their shop. I've had items from SBR sent to me from different addresses.

i buy alot of stuff from them, im suprised they would do that, the main reason i buy stuff from them is cause they have basically anything i can think of. maybe someone can tell me a site where i can get anything i need like that. dsmparts has good stuff, but its a more limited selection.

 

I used to get a lot of stuff from MackV (think thats how you spell it) But I also would go to Twincam and Damion and Drew would hook me up. I think they closed it down now.
